There are many questions you may have regarding skincare in general or our special face oils. Here below we answer a few of them…
Our products
Are the products organic?
Yes, all our oils are natural, fresh and blended from certified organic oils. The heavenly scents and textures come solely from the active natural organic ingredients used in our formulas.
Are the face oils greasy?
We have specially conceived our oils to be absorbed quickly. They are designed for all skin types.
Are your products hypoallergenic?
Our natural products are less allergenic than those made from synthetic ingredients. Nevertheless, the body can react to certain natural substances. Should this occur, stop using the product and consult an allergist or doctor.
How do you store the oils?
Essential oils are best preserved in dark glass bottles to protect against sunlight. Please store Relaxayvoo at room temperature.
What is the container made of? Any repurposing ideas?
The cap of the pipette is made of recyclable plastic. The glass container is recyclable and
non-toxic for the environment. The bottle could even be repurposed as a mini vase for a single stem! The drum packaging is recycled and recyclable
Do you use preservatives in your products?
Our products are completely fresh and with natural preservatives. Please observe the 18 months best before date hand written on each individual bottle. Some of the natural substances (essential oils) have preserving qualities.
Do you use any chemicals?
Our cosmetics are all fresh products.
No parabens. No palm oil. No synthetic fragrances or chemical preservatives.
Our hand-blended products have an expiry date on the bottle.
Our ingredients
What are active ingredients?
Active ingredients are key to an effective formula as they interact with your skin. Having a strong proportion of these active ingredients in the oil is important as they work hard to protect your skin.
What is the quality of the ingredients used?
Our ingredients come from plants grown and harvested in the best possible conditions (hand harvested organic crop). The extraction methods used (first cold press for vegetable oils, Steam distillation for essential oils) guarantee the most efficient ingredients. These ingredients are regularly tested to meet the highest standards.
Formulation
Created with an aromatherapist we carefully selected plants that worked in harmony with our chosen oils, resulting in optimum synergy.
Manuacturing process
The manufacturing process respects the active ingredients. We make orders ‘à la demande’ to make sure it stays fresh. Small batches mean that occasionally we run out of stock but this is to insure the best quality possible. Craftsmanship is the most respectful way of preserving the quality of the ingredients.
Renew night face oil
Why a specific oil for the nightime?
At night the skin cells regenerate. We chose prickly pear, a very rich antioxidant oil as our main ingredient. We also selected very relaxing essential oils such as Chamomile and Lemon Verbena with calming, refreshing, soothing properties and a divine smell to help you drift to sleep.
When should I use it?
At night after cleaning your skin (brushing your teeth..:) and just before to bed. No need to add moisturiser or serum.
How much should I use?
Around 5 little drops from the pipette each time. No need to use more as the product is highly concentrated.
Application method
The oil is to be used on a clean skin. You have the choice to leave the skin damp as the water is captured between the layers, increasing hydration. It‘s all a matter of personal preference. For best results, massage gently into the skin avoiding the eye area.

Why a specific oil for the day?
We chose carrier oils that are easily absorbed (read our reviews!) allowing you to easily apply your SPF and make up on top, whilst keeping skin moisturised and hydrated to protect against harsh effects of environment and pollution.
Chamomile and geranium essential oils give a little anti bacterial boost.
When is the best time to use day oil?
‘Protect’ day oil was developed to be used as part of your morning routine, however if your skin loves it, this oil can be used anytime, night or day.
How much should I use?
Around 5 drops each time from the little pipette
Can I apply make up after using the oil
Yes, you will find it absorbs really quickly, the perfect base for your make up. No need for extra serum or moisturiser.

Can the oils be applied as a serum?
Yes. It carries everything the skin needs to be protected.
Do I need to moisturise after?
No our oils already moisturise and hydrate your skin.
How about the experience?
The experience begins when you unscrew the cap. It is worth pausing to take in the scent… a scent that comes only from the active natural components of the plants.
Why do you recommend using massage?
A facial massage aids in cleansing your skin from the inside out by promoting lymphatic drainage. It also improved the appearance of fine lines and overall skin structure as it firms, tones, and tightens your skin. You can use your hands or a Guasha stone (website). Also massage just feels good.
How long will the bottle last for?
Depending on usage, an average little bottle will last 4-5 months (unless somebody else in the household is secretly using it too!)
Can men use it as well?
Yes! If you are happy to share. They were developed by women, but can be used by anyone who cares about their skin.
